Norman Park police in high speed chase with motorcyclist

Norman Park police were involved in a high speed chase Tuesday  with a motorcyclist that reached speeds in excess of 120 mph. It all started around 5:30 pm when Chad Wells, age 37 , was pulled over on US 319 because of outstanding warrants. When the officer approached the bike Wells took off.  After a chase that lasted about 25 miles Wells surrendered to officers on Wrights Chapel Road. Wells is alleged to have had components of a shake and bake meth lab on him and is the Colquitt County Jail on several traffic and drug charges. He is also wanted by Tifton Police for Family violence charges.
