Valdosta Gets Gas

July 24, 2012 Uncategorized No Comments

A south Georgia business is doing its part to encourage more people to use natural gas.

The Langdale Company is building a Compressed Natural Gas fueling station in Valdosta.

Langdale officials will use the station for their trucking operations, but will make it available for public use as well.

“That’s one of the things that has been lacking in the CNG Fuel centers across the country. There’s over a thousand right now in the country, but only half of them are publicly available and this one will be publicly available,” said Special Projects Manager Tom Putnam.

Langdale says the fueling station should be up and running next March.
